The cost of entry is £2 per draw – £24 per annum, and cheques can be sent to myself or popped into the payment box at the club (marked “PRIZE DRAW”) – we will even accept cash!

Many thanks, I look forward to a bumper entry this year, which will certainly be welcomed by the Hon. Treasurer.

Best regards,

Midsummer Medford Friday 20th June

This Friday sees the Midsummer Medford competition to celebrate Midsummer Day.

This is a competition with 9 holes Medal and 9 holes Stableford format, and you can tee off at any time during the day or evening.

To encourage everyone to participate we are opening the bar in the evening so that you can all chew the fat over a beer or soft drink after your round.

The Medford was well supported last year so we hope you will join in the fun this Friday.

Captains’ Day 7th June 2014

Just another reminder about our Captains Day.

I have had a number of emails from members offering apologies or stating they would like to join in the fun, but I thought I would just send out another reminder.

I need to know rough numbers so that the food can be ordered and prepared, so if you are still wanting to attend please could you email me (tomma100@btinternet.com) before Monday or catch me at Allendale Fair or on Sunday so we can all enjoy a great day.

I am hoping for fine weather, pumping music, show girls (only joking) food and drink. Oh and of course some golf and spot prizes.

Tee off times between 10 am and 12 noon, so you can play with your mates as normal if that’s what you want.

Happy hitting and look forward to hearing from you.
